GAY FOOTBALLERS

Fri Jan 17, 2014 7:12 am

The media asks why don't we see gay footballers coming out, well i think their easy to spot.
My theory is the gay footballers are the ones pulling out tackles, they have a strong feminine side preventing them from getting stuck in.My theory is from actual real life experience,i played for a side which had two gay's in and they would sherk every tackle.

This post is obviously a joke trying to provoke a reaction yeah? Please tell me that's what it is and no one is this dumb.

Re: GAY FOOTBALLERS

Every gay I've known who plays football can't make a decent tackle. My theory is based on real life experience.

George Best wasnt renowned for his tackling and he shagged a million women

Re: GAY FOOTBALLERS

Fri Jan 17, 2014 8:19 am

Best could ride a tackle better than he rode women

Re: GAY FOOTBALLERS

Do your saying who a footballer fancies and has feelings for dictates how they play? Gareth Thomas may not of been a footballer but i never seen him shirk a challenge. Also Justin fashanu wasn't shy bout getting stuck in. This is a ridiculous argument. A narrow minded opinion and part of a reason gay footballers are afraid to come out

You'll obviously get a couple of exceptions, and by the way those you quoted were bisexual.
would you ever have a woman midfield general, not in a million years.

So basically what you are saying is you have been in a pair of shorts with two gay men and watched them pull out.

To be fair Gareth Thomas did shirk tackles during most of his career, it was only towards the end of his career after bulking up did Thomas tackle manfully. I still of the school of thought, that Gareth Thomas is straight and just attention seeking as his rugby powers fade and the spotlight moves elsewhere. In 10 years time don't be surprised if Gareth Thomas marries a woman.

I always secretly suspected two guys in my team, them with the unfeasibly large tushes.

Sol Campbell got married to a woman. The gay stuff was just the anger of spurned Tottenam fans.

Whitts has got a girlfriend.

Their could be something in this.Gay men aren't known for their manliness and aggression.
Would you have Alan car in your side.I don't think so.Although he could distract the opposition with jokes while you score.

Re: GAY FOOTBALLERS

there are no words for how ridiculous this thread is. genuinley surprised people like the OP still think like this..."i knew two gays...not great in a tackle"

must be the way it is with all gays then!

estimates state that 1/10 to 1/15 men are gay. there are roughly 4000-4500 proffesional players in the english league system. which means that statisticly 200-300 of those are gay...are they all forwards? you are a fool mate

Re: GAY FOOTBALLERS

Fri Jan 17, 2014 12:55 pm

1/10 men are gay. Total bullshit.

That's what I thought on reading that stat. It amazes me how many people repeat stats without questioning them.
80 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot :P
