Get real.

Look at our form and form of those around us.

A few months back we may have been better odds. But we need wins.
Man City next tho

With man City and man united next we will probably be bottom by the end of the month, so why should we be 3rd or 4th? At the moment the bookies can't see any reason for us to be, and neither can I. If anything, we should be favourites as it stands.

Were are probably the most unstable of all the clubs given our owner.

Not surprised at all.

Its an interesting post you have made and the odds make good reading.
We are still odds against to go down, which as 2nd favourites to get relegated shows just how undecided the bookies are.
You can argue that we are JOINT 2nd favourites to go down with Fulham more or less the same odds (Bet Victor put as 3rd fav to get relegated).
Have the bookmakers taken into account our next too games at Man City & United? - We are widely expected to lose both games, and therefore do the odds of 11/10 take this into account?
The bookies odds are always a good indication of the state of play, and my opinion is we got a bloody good fighting chance of staying up this season.

Not usually a pessimist but i will be very suprised if we dont go down this season.

We need to finish on 40 points to almost guarentee us not going down.. where are we going to get those points from?

These are our fixtures for the rest of the season, our results will probably look somthing like this:

Man City v Cardiff - 0 Points
Man Utd v Cardiff - 0 Points
Cardiff v Norwich - 3 Points
Swansea v Cardiff - 0 Points
Cardiff v Aston Villa- 1 Point
Cardiff V Hull City - 1 Point
Tottenham v Cardiff - 0 Points
Cardiff V Fullham - 3 Points
Everton v Cardiff - 0 Points
Cardiff v Liverpool - 0 Points
West Brom - Cardiff - 1 Point
Cardiff v Crystal Palace - 3 Points
Southhampton v Cardiff - 0 Points
Cardiff v Stoke - 1 Point
Sunderland v Cardiff - 1 Point
Newcastle v Cardiff - 0 Points
Cardiff v Chelsea - 0 Points

Some of you might not agree with all the scorelines i have chosen but realistically we are going to finish the season with roughly 31 points.

We are going to have to cause some HUGE upsets to even stand a chance of staying up - thats the reality of our situation and its why we are 2nd favorites to go down

The league position dont lie im afraid, We are deffinatly the most likley to press the self distruct button with Tan in charge!
I think if Ole gets the best out of the lads along with his new additions we are better than the teams around us, We played West ham of the park for long periods but couldnt score hopefully Ole will be looking to get that sorted, if so I think we will stay up!

I'd say your about right there - might get a point vs Swans / Newcastle away as well so looking around 33.
I reckon around 7 other teams will be around same points this year.
C Palace - Norwich - W Ham - W Brom - Sunderland - Hull - Fulham
Even 37 points could be enough to stay up.
Cmon Bluebirds

You are not far wrong with your predictions for the rest of the season. And yes 31 points is very low.
But surely if we(you) did the same calculation for the rest of the season for -
Palace (one point less currently)
Sunderland (one point less currently)
West Ham (same points as us)
Fulham (one point more than us curently)
Norwich (2 points more than us currently)
DARE I SAY if we beat Swansea at the Liberty we are level on points with them (??)

IS IT POSSIBLE WE COULD STAY UP WITH 31 POINTS????

Recipe for disaster

It's not that manager that people are judging us on, it's that clown Tan.

(Although, in my view we should've been looking for an escape artist manager instead of a 'Name')

I hope I'm wrong come the end of the season, but I think we're doomed - our squad is nowhere near the quality it needs to be.
