It could be he is believing all the bad press against him, and needs a break to go his way to inject a bit of confidence..one thing is certain, he has the right man in charge now to bring the best out of him.. I have a funny feeling he could surprise a few soon.. heres hoping

Another Cornelis thread great, he will not add nothing to this season, he may be good next season with a gd per season but he will not add nothing this season. Ole has already stated he is overweight and unfit, to many Clarks pies.

Too many people too quick to believe stories when they want to and slag the poster or newspaper journalist off for talking bullshit, when it suits their agenda!

Look, I'm not being funny and there may be many things wrong with Cornelius, but the only thing that you and I can say for definite that is wrong, is that he hasn't pulled up any trees, as yet at least!
You should however take into account, that he's come from a different country and culture, then picked up a long term injury, which has severely hampered his game time!
He has had to make do with mainly 10 or 15 minute cameo appearances from the bench up to now, mainly when we've been under the cosh, losing and when all our fans have needed him and wanted him to play like a world beater immediately!
When he came on against Sunderland for example, there was about 15 minutes left and we'd already dropped far too deep, so much so, that the decent service which Campbell had received up to him exiting the pitch, disappeared almost totally and Cornelius was left with having to chase shadows in Sunderland's half by himself, which I can assure you would tire him very quickly and probably be quite demoralising!
To be fair to him, although I've seen some who've watched a different game to me, he stuck at it and continued chasing down lost causes. He blew his one and only chance to make a name for himself, when he unfortunately lost possession, when he had the one defender and goalie to beat by himself, but who scores those sort of chances on a regular basis, because there aren't many around who'd get past the last defender and work the goalie, as I'm sure we'd all hoped he would have?
The jury is still out on him, but he deserves a run out of at least half a dozen near full games IMO, before people should even start to judge him so harshly, as he has been on here!

your the manager.......of any team any where........you win promotion, are impressed enough with some young lad to break the clubs transfer record buying him...................he gets injured before he plays........you know what..your itching for him to get fit, you have to be, having shown so much faith.....your team arnt winning,or scoring, you should be desperate to get this fella on.......................my point.......many fans who fear the worse are actually taking a lead from the man that invested so much in him..........
