Cardiff City's Peter Odemwingie joins Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero in ad campaign

Bluebirds striker joins a squad of global football stars that also includes Robin van Persie and Jack Wilshere in new Pepsi campaign
Cardiff City front man Peter Odemwingie has found himself in high-flying company after becoming one of the worldwide faces for fizzy drink Pepsi.
Nigerian international Odemwingie joins the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Robin van Persie in starring in the new ad campaign, launching in March, as well as a number of other global stars.
As well as the ads, the superstar squad will appear on special promotional packaging from March onwards.
“I am so proud to be part of this star-studded team,” said Messi.
Further projects involving music, art, digital, interactive experiences and additional special products will be announced throughout the year.
Other players to take part in the campaign include Jack Wilshere (England), Juan Guillermo Cuadrado (Colombia), Clint Dempsey (USA), Tarik Elyounoussi (Norway), Maynor Figueroa (Honduras), Mario Gomez (Germany), Vincent Kompany (Belgium), Kemar Lawrence (Jamaica), Victor Moses (Nigeria), Oribe Peralta (Mexico), Andriy Pyatov (Ukraine), Mohamed Salah (Egypt) and Gylfi Por Sigurdsson (Iceland).
