Lee Evans back at the glee club

Nice treat for the misses and yourself. Valentines day (14/02/13) and the Saturday (15/02/13) Lee a Evans is back at the glee club plus 3 other comedians. Tickets went on sale this morning at 11am £21 each that includes the booking fee.

i have to thank you for this. 15th of feb is our first anniversary (together, not married) and she is a big lee evans fan.

Lee Evans is without doubt the most over rated so called comedian ever! ( with the possible exception of chubby Brown )

His " act" is a desperate attempt to make people laugh, and my theory is that people are so nice they laugh along and convince themselves it`s hilarious. If you wrote down what he actually says it would hardly make you smirk. The rest of it is pulling faces ( 3 year olds like that ) running around, and sweating like a pig!

Having said all that, I have seen him on chat shows and he seems a really nice bloke and genuinely seems bemused at his success himself!

lardo ,plenty of people would disagree with you ,I've seen him a few times and he is good but everyone sense of humour is different I like most comedians but there's some I cant stand,he is a very down to earth fella and after reading his book he had a tough upbringing .good read.

There again, so do One Direction, that fine band up there with the Beatles for popularity in the USA lol

Personally, I idolise Eric Morecambe ( showing my age ) but have a mate that would rather watch paint dry than watch his old shows!

Bought 4 tickets already for the 13th, spent 10 minutes on the mobile phone at 50p a minute as the site kept crashing and then remembered I have a land line I haven't used for about 2 years!

Went to see lee evans a few years ago with my brother and the pair of us were crying with laughter all the way through it.

I have to say a big thank you to the OP for putting this up. Just bought tickets for me and the Mrs as she loves lee evans and has never seen him, plus itll be the weekend we've been together 5 years, so some browny points for me

I cry every time I watch him as well!

You are obviously very jealous and talentless what was the point of your comments? the guy was just mentioning he is doing a show there and you think you are Simon Cowell with your pointless comments,if you have nothing to say then say nothing,there are some dickheads in this world.

I will admit Lee Evans isnt as funny as he was when he first hit the big audiences. I just like the way he relates to common peoples every day lives and turns it into comedy. unlike say Michael Mcintyre who whinged for 20 minutes about dish washers when people like me dont have them so I couldnt relate to it and didnt find it funny.

Chubby Brown I thought was funny when I was yougner but I think that was down to the shock factor, watching him now I cringe!!

Talking of comedians what do you think about monty python making a comeback,will it work after their long break,has comedy moved on ,will they flop.It'll be interesting to see how they get on.
