Palace keen on gunnarsson

Cardiff City midfielder and Iceland national team captain Aron Einar Gunnarsson is a target for Crystal Palace.
Gunnarsson, who joined from Coventry City in 2011, has had limited opporunities of late.
This was compounded by the recent arrival of Magnus Wolff Eikrem from Heerenveen, who Bluebirds boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to use as his first-choice.

Palace boss Tony Pulis is understood to be preparing a bid in the region of £4 million for Gunnarsson.
"He's a Pulis-type player," a source told SportsDirect News. "Hard-working and tough-tackling, if limited in terms of technique. But he does a lot of running and is not afraid to hit it long."
Cardiff and Palace are both in the relegation zone, with the former third bottom and the latter propping up the Premier League table.

Take the £4m and reinvest it into the purchase of Finnbogason, who is valued by Transfermarkt at £5.7m. We won't get him at that price, but maybe £8m will do it and we already have more options in midfield and need a good striker.

I like Gunnarsson I think he's a fantastic player and gives 100% but he's just not quite premiership quality . High end championship definately but I think he's one of those players who has found his level and its yo-yoing between the two leagues , if we want to stay up we need better and 4 million can Get you a very good premiership squad player . Whilst I like gunnarson for his tenacity and work rate,I feel he is not quite prem quality,agree push for 5m and re-invest it in a winger or a striker.

I love Gunnarsson but they can have him for £4m.

I'll drive him there myself, not mobile enough to play in the premier on a regular basis. Always gives his all but we need a lot better. Do you recon they'd take Malky's favourite boy as well?
