Massive Respect To Hull Fans

Wed Jan 15, 2014 11:25 am

I got massive respect for Hull fans after reading this article:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25741182

What Assam is trying to do to Hull City is nowhere near as bad as the rebranding that Tan did to us, but we did nothing.

Got maximum respect for Hull fans, this is exactly how we should've behaved when Tan tried to change our colours. Instead we've got too many plastics supporting our club, who wanted to see Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard in the Premiership.

SHAME ON ALL OF US.

He will do what he wants , it's his business like he says , no amount of protesting will make him change his mind .
He would rather lose money than have someone else tell him what to do .
Hulls fans choice is simple , allam (and his money) or the name hull city and possible threat of watching this knob rip there club to pieces getting his money back .

I think we all have massive respect for anyone who stands up for their beliefs.
I'm not sure that they have done anything different to our supporters, in fact I would say we have
probably been more vocal and visible than Hull supporters in our fight against the rebrand.
Have we not had marches, songs, banners and media coverage of our fight against Tan.
The difference is the FA. They, and only they, have the power to stop the name change to Hull Tigers.
If there was such a rule regarding change of colours, then maybe after talking to our fans, the rebrand would
not have gone through as it did.
Good luck to all Hull fans, but also a mention to all CCFc fans in their continnued battle against Tan's rebranding.
Just my view.

The Hull fans have done nothing more than our fans have. You are reading reports that highlight their struggle.

If you weren't a Cardiff fan reading this website, the press reports about Cardiff fans struggle would look similar to you.

For all their protests so far he has just ignored them, so don't think he's going to change his mind now!

a lot of the pictures ive seen are very similar to the BU pictures tbh................he has said that he believes its a minority, and should it be the majority,he will leave.......i think he is correct..and i think its the same here, given the option to go Blue almost 100% would want blue back...........add that if we chose blue ,Tan will walk,i think it changes dramatically .. wanting a club isnt anything to be ashamed of either.......as i remember it wasnt admin he saved us from,it was liquidation.

We'll see when the pressure is on them. We tossed around for a few days until the "red or dead" slogan got thrown around, then the word reluctant was added to our forum.

Hull fans are actually doing very little. That might change of course, but they'd better be quick.

"The FA has requested comments from Hull supporters on the proposed changes as part of its consultation process. However, Hull City's Official Supporters' Club were unable to agree with City Till We Die on a shared statement to be submitted to English football's governing body."

What exactly have Hull fans done that is so heroic for you? The FA invited supporters' groups to comment on the proposals, but the supporters' groups cannot agree on whether to agree with the proposals or not.

..we are far more united tbh...........we all want blue...........our problem is when the people who organise anything re getting blue back, just cant resist making it Tan out as well..........if the FA were to ask regarding just the blue...ALL supporters groups would respond the same...........we want blue not red
