OT...travel advice

Anyone been and could recommend hotels near Barcelona city centre. Present for my wife, not familiar at all with the place so any advice would be appreciated.

I've stayed in the roayl hotel (about 4 years ago)on the ramblas, good hotel with an english bar 4 doors away.
Booked it through late rooms,,just beware of the bag snatchers in Barcelona, we were only there for 3 nights and witnessed 2 bag robberies,

I'd try and go for the best you can afford. Alternatively stick with s big name hotel. There are loads just orc the Ramblas that you'll want to check out of as soon as you check in.

Take a City bus tour early on, you'll see loads and you can visit what you see in more time after that. Try and take in a tour of the Nou Camp and go to a game. Tickets are cheap and usually easy to buy.

It's a great city to visit.

Personally I think there's better places to take your misses
