Performed well for Everton when asked of him, only thing I wouldn't like is how he'd go back and we'd lose our main source of goals if that was the case, should look to the MLS though for a short term fix until we find a top striker. Robbie Keane available I guess? Done it for Villa

He's done this before in the US close season bit of an underperformer
2009
→ Bayern Munich (loan) 6 (0)
2010
→ Everton (loan) 10 (2)
2012
→ Everton (loan) 7 (0)
2 goals in 23 games not what we need.

He didn't always play up top in those spells though. He played on the wings often as well. Everton wanted him back at the time too.

Think he got 7 assists last time at Everton.

Would be a good signing, he's still only 31. On the subject of American players, targeting a few experienced MLS players on loan while their season is over wouldn't be a bad move.
Tim Cahill for instance is playing for New York but is still fit as a fiddle. He's a leader and he's a non stop work horse with plenty of quality and experience who knows what the Premiership is all about. Plus he can give us what we're lacking, someone who gets forward to make a late run into the box to score! I think someone like Cahill would be perfect alongside Mutch and Medel, he could even do a job up front too!

Robbie Keane here would be superb, I am against us loaning too many players and see Fabio as a waste of space. Keane on the other hand would transform us, old, wise head. Would not come here for the money, his last hurrah at the top level if you like. I believe he's still got a few goals left in him.

Exactly my thoughts, he clearly knows where the goal is and scores goals wherever he goes, was unfortunate at Liverpool but elsewhere he's always had goals out of nothing. International loans are unlimited I think. Would only be a short term fix I guess but February is the most important month to us and we need goals!

Sorry mate but Everton went back in for him, and galaxy said due to the seasons him and Keane had neither will be going on loan to the prem and need a rest.
