Looking at this link (
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25705596), Danny Mills reckons that only teams from West Brom downwards could go down. Mark Lawrenson thinks that anyone from Hull downwards are in danger. Here's the bottom bottom eleven at the moment, all having played 21 games:
10 Hull - 23pts
11 Aston Villa - 23pts
12 Stoke - 22pts
13 Swansea - 21pts
14 West Brom - 21pts
15 Norwich - 20pts
16 Fulham - 19pts
17 West Ham - 18pts
--------------------------
18 Cardiff - 18pts
19 Sunderland - 17pts
20 Palace - 17pts
Then let's see who have to face the top teams - we'll include Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man Utd.
Man CityCardiff, Sunderland, Stoke, Villa, Fulham, West Brom and West Ham have to travel to the Etihad.
Norwich, Hull and and Palace face Man City at home.
ArsenalFulham, Palace, Sunderland, Swansea, West Ham and West Brom go to Arsenal.
Stoke, Hull and Norwich play Arsenal at home.
ChelseaStoke, West Ham, Sunderland and Norwich go to Chelsea.
Cardiff, Fulham, Villa, Palace and Swansea play Chelsea at home.
LiverpoolVilla, Swansea and Sunderland go to Liverpool.
Cardiff, West Brom, Fulham, West Ham, Norwich and Palace play Liverpool at home.
So going by that, the teams above have to play one of the current top four on the following amounts:
Hull - 2
Aston Villa - 3
Stoke - 3
Swansea - 3
West Brom - 3
Norwich - 4
Fulham - 4
West Ham - 4
Cardiff - 3
Sunderland - 4
Palace - 4
So, that's where Hull have an advantage over the rest. While Norwich, Fulham, West Ham, Sunderland and Palace face an uphill task.
Personally, I think Swansea and Hull have enough about them to stay up but apart from that..
Quietly confident we have enough to stay in this division.
Our home games against Fulham, Norwich, Palace, Stoke, Villa, Hull and WBA are crucial. They say you need 40 points, and we're on 18 now. If we won all those home games I've pointed out, then we'll be safe - but we all know it's not as simple as that!
