Man U lite

Question 1: Are we in danger of becoming Man U lite - a team of manure cast offs?
Question 2: is that enough to keep us up?

If I were to rephrase the question and ask whether Man Utd reserves could hold there own in the Premiership I personally think they could.

Therefore if we were to take some of the better Man Utd reserves and add it to the better CCFC players then I believe we should be more than capable of staying up and possibly - with a bit of summer rebuilding - try for a top 10 next year

Anyone would think playing in the man utd reserves means ur crap. Far from it, Man utd don't take on any old footballer, they signed them on because they are very good. Look at Paul pogba for example, he only really made the reserves up until 18 months ago, would u turn him down if we could get him? Exactly.

Good points, I agree with most of that and think we could do a lot worse.

You have made an assumption that I don't think they will be good enough. I didn't say that I asked for your opinion

Sort of both tbh, I'd take chelski, Man city, even Accrington Stanley's cast offs if it meant they were better than we have now. Defo wouldn't say we're Man utd lite, solskjaer is signing players he knows will do the job for him, and being close linked to utd his first port of call is go player hunting there.
