As much as we all slate him he was the best striker we've had for a long time. Real gifted and I would have liked to seen him come back here rather than Thailand. He could do a job for us

had many an argument about this when he was with us..................so many people blamed DJ.......not getting the best out of players...........he certainly did with Jay..........what everyone saw was how much better he COULD be........truth be told,if Jay had ever lived up to his potential,he would never have been playing for us in 1st place...........
i also find it very strange that Robin Friday is looked upon totally different... yet he let this club down far more than Jay ever did.............dont read this wrong,what i saw of Friday,i loved...........its more a defence of Jay than a dig at Robin.

I wish we had Bothroyd, in top form, playing for us now.
