Your CD is so expensive. Why are you charging more than top chart artists for a CD? I would have bought it for £5 but not that extortionate price.

On the back of the success of the series, a sequel is to be filmed in Swansea entitled 'Hinderedland'. The plot revolves around a drugs cartel run by a profesional footballer and the homeless and has a working title of 'Charlies Rangels'.

I would totally disagree with that. Welsh is my first language, and I first saw it on S4C back in the autumn. Thought it was better in just Welsh, but they've obviously made an English version to broaden its appeal.

Not at all. The solely Welsh version came out first, and now the English (with bits of Welsh here and there) version has been released, those who saw the Welsh edition (essentially only Welsh speakers, though it did have subtitles for non-Welsh speakers), such as myself, have found it to be a bit complicated. Richard Harrington, who plays the main character, Tom Mathias, is now seen as a non-Welsh speaker on BBC1 Wales, whereas he was portrayed as a fluent Welsh speaker on S4C. Therefore, in the first episode, when they visit homes to interrogate individuals, the one who accompanies Harrington's character on such visits, DI Mared Rhys (played by Mali Harries) is seen to be speaking English with one such interviewee, Dyfed, when the two are on their own in his home. In the S4C version of the scene, they were speaking Welsh with each other. This naturally causes confusion. Personally, I was asking the question 'Why can't they speak Welsh with each other, and just subtitle it, like they do with other scenes with Welsh dialogue?', because there is another scene where Mali Harries' character goes with Harrington's to the amusements on the prom in order to obtain an address of a worker who they wish to speak to. As Harrington's character can't speak Welsh, Harries' character is the one to ask for this man's address from another man who works there, with whom she speaks Welsh.

As I said, it's a bit tangled
