Healy or Cornelius

Mon Jan 13, 2014 8:40 pm

I would prefer Healy to start over cornflake, he bangs them in for the DVP, 1 again tonight, cornelius is not having a sniff by the sounds of it in tonight's game.

By biggest concern is Cornelius doesnt look like scoring.

When Rudy used to come on he would make a nuisance of himself, miss a lot but was a pain. Cornelius doesnt do that.

I think it says it all that Healy, a player who was in the Welsh League at the start of last season is performing just as well as Cornelius for the development.

Have you got something against him? Did he beat you up? f*cking hell

It's nothing against him guys to be honest, I'm just fukt off at the Fee and wages being paid, again not his fault. An 8 mil player on 45k a wk playing for the DVP team just sucks me off

Last time i checked we are half way through the season and he hasnt even played a full game. When he turns epic you can fack off.

Id take a scuffed goal over a miss anyday of the week, a goal is a goal end of the day hopefully boost his confidence, a lot of people with reputations don't hit the ground running, e.g tevez when he went west ham he was dog shite till he got a few goals and he just shone from there, acorn noway near tevez and probably never will be anywhere near good as him but its just an example

We've played 2 games past the halfway mark, the season is nowhere near over. For the record it took Bothroyd 10 games to score for us in a league he was established in where he was playing full games, and he turned out to be the best target man we've arguably ever had and our first England international. Have a bit of faith for Christ's sake. The boy gets far too much unwarranted stick IMO :ayatollah:

the big question here is,was Jay shite for those 10 games,or did he look a good player...........we all know he had flaws ..and bags of talent...........without the flaws he would never have been playing for us in the first place..........
its difficult to see that Cornelius is a player..........not at this standard.......
on what you have seen of him with us.......which is more than our new manager ..would you risk playing him?
i know i wouldnt...............and for 8mil there really should b no question.......Carrol comes back from ages out, comes off bench,we all knew including big sam,he would at the very least be a nuisance.......

Can't see how you can compare Bothroyd's start with us to Cornelius's start, as Bothroyd was a seasoned pro who started all his games, whilst Cornelius is 20 and has had to make do with very limited game time, mainly from the bench and with little or no service!

IMO, you should wait until he gets a full run out of perhaps half a dozen games, before it'll give you an idea of whether there is any chance of him making the grade at this level!

As for Carroll, his touch was far worse than Rudy and Cornelius has been slagged off for on here and he managed to make one telling pass, which was when we'd gone short handed at the back!

BTW, Carroll was a proven Premier League striker before he came on against us on Saturday and I'm allowing for the fact that he has been out for a long time, which is unlike some of the posters on here, who won't give Cornelius the same level of leeway!

He's shit a blind man can see that, his transfer IMO is the reason we will be relegated, 2 experienced older head prem players could of been bought for the 8 mil and wages easy, such a shame. We are a prem club now and require prem quality players, and he is no where near up for it at this moment in time, at time is not what we have on our side.,The money was there and malky fukt it up, relying on a 20 yr old to bang them in in our first prem yr was a school boy error. :ayatollah:

The boy is far from fit. He got better as the game developed especially second half. Agreed Rudy was a similar player with more physicality but this guy needs game time away from the gaze of criticism, if he had the Danish award he can't be without talent. And yes I was at the match nice to see CB39 and Medal also watching the game along with OGS.
