My understanding is that you have to buy one, not take him on loan with a view to buying him, otherwise clubs could just pull out at the end of the loan period and just say that they had intended to buy them!

If you mean fabio and Zaha them I think the fact fabio is out of contract at the end of the season would have an effect maybe.

If its in the contract that its a view to a permanent deal then legally we want be able to pull out at the end, so who knows.

No. One player can be loaned, the other must be bought outright, not with a view to later purchase as both would then be on loan, which breaks PL rules

Only if one is a goalkeeper, otherwise you would have to buy one player and loan the other

The option to buy has to be written into the loan agreement, not just said verbally, this circumvents that particular rule, so even at the end of the loan period the club does not have to buy

Has Zaha's age got anything to do with it? As he is under 21 (well he was at the beginning of the season) he does not need to be named in a 25 man squad therefore we would only be naming one Man U loanee in our 25.
