Cant stand him personally, but I think this might be a masterstroke as he has a certain resemblance to him and the right accent.

I can't stand the bloke personally but in Arthur he was exceptional. If the writing is good he'll play the part well but don't expect an actor to make up for terrible writing.

Good casting IMHO....and he's an alright bloke.

I went to see him in St. Davids Hall a few years back. 30 minutes before he was due kn stage it was announced he wouldn't be appearing with no further explanation. A few days later it all came out in the wash as things do. Turns out he was still in London as he'd been to watch West Ham in the 4pm Sky covered Sunday match.
