Moving the family stand - Great opportunity!

Sun Jan 12, 2014 7:27 pm

Moving the family stand and the academy kids/families/club staff from 118 away from the Away fans.

Obviously this has been debated numerous times on this board but with the club getting family club of the year awards it might never happen. Or could it......

Tan surely would like to build bridges with the fans, I'm going it suggest to the fans reps to suggest this to Tan on the forthcoming meetings between VT and the CCST & CCSC

This might be the ideal time to get this changed with such a divide between the clubs board and the fans, and a new stand being added, there's opportunity to change things about. Tan won't care about police advice, he's like Whitts, he does what he wants! And most other clubs don't bother with such a layout, he clearly wants us to be like 'MU' or Liverpool  so let's appeal to him by changing this now to turn the CCS into a fortress.

On a side note, well done to Newcastle and Sunderland for refusing to allow their match to be a bubble trip, 2 fingers to 'police advice'

Gavin, great idea, but Our identity is the only way Tan can build bridges.

Yes and lets rename it "The Grange End" We've lost too much of our tradition and the stadium is getting like a library full of customers and not fans! However, as has been posted earlier, maybe the days of fans are finished in Britain anyway as we all become prawn sandwich football consumers instead.

Yes move the family stand.

For me the only way to get the atmosphere back is to get safe standing like in Germany.

We all stand in the canton and it makes no difference.

Just like our team we only get going for the big games
