I heard many people booing & laughing at Cornelius when he missed his header yesterday & heard a fair amount of Boos directed at him from the Ninian and the Canton when he clapped the fans at the end of the game
In my mind it is unacceptable that fans do this to a new player, a young player and one that we are hoping to get something out of in the future
If he had been playing consistently without scoring goals then i could understand frustration - But hes been getting 10 mins game time here and there not yet playing 90 mins
My mind is judge a player after 4-5 games playing the full 90 - then you can judge what type of player they are.
His price tag is not down to him - regardless of peoples first impressions you should try to get behind a young player who hopefully will come good for us in the near future

Must admit i'm in 116 and didn't hear it

Totally agree. Unfortunately when things aren't going well we seem to have too many "fans" who love to vent their anger on a particular player. If Cowie isn't playing its Whitts, but cornelius is the latest choice for the boo boys.
He was poor yesterday but I'm hoping it's more of a confidence than an ability issue and that Ole can bring out the best in him. At the moment though Im afraid Malky has wasted a fortune, but I'll never boo him.

Even tho I think he is the shittest signing in history, I clapped him when he clapped to us and so did many others. We also regularly clapped him when he was warming up in the corner.

I agree. Some people are beyond.

He didn't even do too bad yesterday, he was making runs and no one would pass to him, he was frustrated as hell when he missed that header as well, I think with good tutoring, Ole could maybe try and salvage something out of his career

Not disputing that people were not clapping him - nor am I saying that the whole stadium was united in booing him off the field
But there were enough people booing for it to be audible amongst the noise/clapping
Not acceptable

Whitts is still the one copping the most of it, unfortunately.

As I have stated many times, he is the shittest signing in history when taking into account the large FEE and HUGE amount of wages he's being paid.

It doesn't look brilliant when you consider it that way, but I can think of worse signings. Much worse.
Andy Carroll, anyone?

Having watched a few videos of Cornelius I believe he can do well for us. I think he's just short of confidence at the moment and when he gets his first goal we should see a change. Malky did pay too much for him though but I don't believe he's a flop and a shit player as many are making out, he just needs more playing time and that elusive first goal.

Also heard this every other player was clapped when he came over was booed
Some of our fans can't take losing and only support players when playing well , who ever is on the field for us you support or f off

I wonder if he got a relegation release clause in his contract or at least a reduce wage if we get relegated

What pisses me off is that money could of been spent on a loan signing like Remy who is a goal machine.

Can't judge until he's start a few games. If we sign Diouf, he could do with a short term loan.
