HE NEEDS TIME BUT!

Sun Jan 12, 2014 12:38 pm

Do we have enough time, and how much of it do he need.
Ole was a good play I think we all agree on that, but just cos your a good player dont make you a good manager.

Lets keep it in mined ,that the Norwegian league is not like the prem, not even the championship which we all know about ,is like the prem.

Ole is going to need time to see and experiment with the team, but that could be our undoing. He is now bring in new players they also need to hit the ground running.

Will the players he brings in be up to prem football ! only time will tell and there it bothers me, do we and the new player have the time that Ole and they need.

Its very hard to get out of the bottom when you drop into it,there is enough time ,but only if the players and Ole gel fast, and get that never say die attitude back.

I still believe Malky would have kept us up, will Ole ? only that thing call time will tell ,ok Malky is gone and we must move on,
Lets hope the move we do make it up and not down . COME ON BLUEBIRDS ,WE CAN & MUST DO IT !! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

You're right. Good player, probably a good manager. Needs to be given time, but I don't think we have that.

We dont have any time - Tan shouldn't have fallen out with Malky and sacked him mid season

Have you fathomed the thought Moody and Malky were at fault as well?

Its not a question of fault when it comes to the falling out

I know there are two sides to every story but this should have been dealt with at the end of the season when there is time and no pressure on the team

It is Tans fault that he didn't play his cards close to his chest when it came to Malky and that he threw his teddy out of the pram at the pivotal point in our season - it wasn't a footballing decision as our results and place in the league were to be expected

The way i see it is ,ok if Malky or Moody was at fault, then why not fine them and have done with it.
If a player steps out of line ,he gets fine by the club, this should be the same with the manager, or any one who steps out of line.
The only people suffering now is the team and the fans and the club in general, and if Tan could see it so now is he.
Why ? simple ,he wants to float the club , but who would invest in a club that looks like at this point in time, are fighting for there lives, and lets be fair where we are now,we are fighting for our lives in every game we play.

17pts just wasnt enough with a manager who has a consistent history of getting worse results 2nd half of the season. so no.

I think we have plenty. Right now I know it looks bad, can't buy a goal, can't defend, not being able to play until the full 90 minutes and having City and United away next it looks like we'll go down.

But after Saturday I felt a lot better and was more optimistic about our chances. Ole has been here what? 9 days? He changed our style quickly, I know a lot of it was down to West Ham sitting back all game but Ii haven't seen so many players past the half-way line for a while now.

I think with Ole possibly bringing in the likes of Zaha and Diouf we will have more potency going forward and we'll start seeing goals. Hopefully he'll bring in another CB to partner Caulker so we can tighten up at the back too.

I say we have plenty of time because from 10th to 20th there is 7 points separating everyone. Out of those other 9 teams we at home; Norwich, Palace, Stoke, Fulham, Hull, Villa which I can see us picking up a good return of wins and a draw or two. All of the big teams away would have been played by the end of this month bar Everton and Spurs. (Yes I know, Swansea, Newcastle, Southampton will be hard too)

So I'll remain positive through till May where I reckon we'll just about survive which will do me after the dismal games we've played in the last 2 months and then we can re-build.

So keel the faith.

(Sorry for the double post but can't see the option to edit my post)

For the record I don't think we'll stay up by just winning 3/4 of the aforementioned games.

I think we'll cause another upset or two on the way to May.
