What are we lacking??

We need a good captain for a start. A strong character and leader. How the armband ever makes the bicep of Whitts is beyond comprehension for me.
We also need a playmaker, someone who can drive moves forward and pick a pass.
When we' need to push on, there's not one player on the park with any of the above. On paper that should be Whitts but, I think he needs to be used coming off the bench from now on until he bucks his ideas up.
Fair play to Bellers, run his socks off yesterday but can't do it all himself and it didn't look to rub off on any of the others.
Eikrem looks like he can fulfill the part of playmaker, he looked a class act when he came on.
But, who's going to be the leader we need on the pitch??
I can't pick anyone from current players.
Maybe Hudson once he's match fit.

We have five players from the malky reign good enough the rest can go.
caulker, Bellamy, actually i dont even think marshall campbell and kim are good enough.
People say noone and mutch are good enough but really are they. We are still getting battered and they would all weaken a good team

Hudson is very fortunate to even be in the squad. Way too slow for the Prem and technically poor.Turner is only marginally better. A new centre half is a must. Caulker is different class and it shows every week. Medel at centre half would be better, but only if we have someone to take up his current role.

medel at CB is a must imo..........how the f**k are we so weak at the back...........the cracks have been papered over by the amount of help they been getting back there

I'd like to see Hudson have a couple more games to see what he's like match fit. Its crazy he's been frozen out, he should have been given more game time before now.
A new CB would be good, especially for the two Manchester games.......but we need to be scoring bucket loads for the February matches.
