Cardiff city AFC is dead

Time to face facts chaps, our club is a joke and will never be the same. It used to be passionate, full of lads who would die for eachother, intimidating and a good day out for all concerned. To many wannabe 'lads' dressing in terrible gear who couldn't punch a hole through a wet echo, to many new fans who are happy to sit there like statues happy with the red, Gwynn and his band of merry men who bullied the remaining few loyal city that were going away... Probably because they know most of the Cardiff lot who would stand up to them are band.....
And a soulless stadium full of the most fickle fans i have ever met. No songs, no passion, no real love for the Cardiff we once new. Red... Shit badge.... And rising debts, this is only going one way, relegation and liquidation! Away used to be good, full of lads, singing old songs, new songs, piss up, passion and the odd bit of pushing and shoving with the old bill. It's getting like our home surrport now from what i have seen. The club is dead and the fans are to blame. Where is the riot over Malkey? When we turned to red we should have been steaming the bored room. We went from the most feared fans in the country, to the softest bunch of twats football has seen. Umm rant over, Cardiff is no longer, and I can't see it getting any better unfortunately.

We have only just got back to the top flight and the natural thing that will happen is the influx of plastic support. Once the novalty has worn off the serious plastic supporters will remain and become part of the die hard lot. Until then and providing we remain in the top flight expect more of the same.

The guys running football now are business men. They look at the revenue streams and when you think attendances bring in say £10 million yet tv money is 10 fold to that then you can understand why the fans don't have much of a say in the boardroom.

The only thing the fans have got going for themselves is the atmosphere. A full ground always looks better on the telly and reflects on the club. Its one of the reasons I believe the German game is cheaper to watch.

I see plenty of the old lads still going. They have grown up and just want to watch the football now.

It happens a lot more than people think, it's just not on the news everytime there's a scuffle now. Cardiff are a no show... Ye there are lads who still go down. But nothing like a few years ago... And many of original SC don't bother or are banned

Your original post bangs on about lads not being able to fight, rioting and steaming the boardroom thats why I brought up the subject of football violence.

I am not trying to twist anything, you sound old enough to know you cannot do any of the above anymore at the ground and thsts not exclusive to City.

So why were half the stadium chanting about a riot every game if nothing was going to be done, that's what the OP is referring to, when we were changed to blue the fans should of stood up to Tan and rioted, albeit a non violent riot. No1 has any guts at our club anymore, we are the laughing stock of the prem and lower leagues.

Its not just our club its happend at every club. Just look at the away fans at our ground, 90% of them have been piss poor.

No it's not worth prison, not at all, but it's worth something, for us to not even stand up and do anything is quite frankly embarrassing.

Np at times was a morgue, and your right people who say it was amazing all the time need there heads testing. Recently there was only a few games that were by my standards 'rocking', spurs home in the cup, brum home top of league clash, arsenal was ok in the cup and some big games were quite good. But I don't know what it is at Cardiff people seem embarrassed to sing. The lack of any decent songs may be a factor... Which is why maybe they all sang about the riot... It was actually catchy haha

When the red issue arose I think you will find there was opposition to it. A group of 50 hard core supporters gathered in the beginning to discuss this. Then KCB was setup to try and organise an opposition. However their attempts were disrupted by what I would have considered to be high profile fans who you would have expected to be in support of our identity and what we are. Their tactics of threats would put anyone off.

Thankfully it took a bunch of just supporters who are not scared of these threats to reignite the opposition. Although some will argue it was a bit late my argument back to those is it is never late. I'm not sure who I am more disgusted with, those that initially did the threats or those who have done nothing but to slag BU off.

So to say we did nothing is bollocks.

Excatly the point thats what the hard core want and 2ill no5 be happy untill its like that mind you you have your villian for when it happens as you can all blame tan instead of looking in the mirror and taking a bit of the blame themselves
