looked classy when he came on,, but i think we need a few more and a striker too, and then hope they can gel quickly, because it will be a dogfight by march..

Yeah I was impressed with his cameo performance. We really need to be putting our chances away though.

He looked excellent. Do you think we could get away with him and Medel in a 4-4-2? I'm sure I read he doesn't do much defending but he looked happy enough to get stuck in. His strike at goal was hit well but straight down the middle

451 is fine with faster passing slick football, and midfielders attacking too. which you did not see under malky..

He looked good, touch of class to him.

Eikrem and medel would make a good deep midfield pairing. With Medel being more defence minded as an anchor in front of the back 4, Eikrem could be given a role as an attack minded midfielder/playmaker looking to play in Kimbo/Noone/Bellers. have Campbell up front to get on everything!

4-1-4-1

Marshall

John (attacking wing back)
Hudson
Caulker
Fabio (attacking wing back)

Medel (drops in deep when wing backs attack)

Bellamy
Eikrem
Mutch
Noone

Diouf

---- definitely the makings of a Solskjaer side.

What impressed me the most was as soon as he passed the ball he followed it to make sure he was always available to take a return pass if our player got pressured. He was constantly moving and never further than 10yds away from the ball

Fabio is actually right footed. He could play RB

He had 3-4 passes, kept the ball reasonably well and had a shot straight at the goalkeeper

Glad everyone is so quickly impressed by this but i will wait a few games before passing judgement

His shot was going in the far corner - from where i am in the ninian, I could see the deflection it had. It would've been a hell of a goal too.

He made more passes than that and also made a very good tackle on the halfway line. Add that to a shot on target and it was a good debut for someone thrown straight into the team.

Early signs are good. Although god help him if he has a stinker, the way some of our fans have turned on Cornelius!

With Bellamy and Eikrem playing, we had much more fluidity in the midfield, but we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that it was against a team defending a one goal advantage, that were down to ten men for the last 15 minutes. (including ET)
I liked what I saw, and look forward to watching him settle into the team - I think he could develop into a top class player for us.
