Men vs Boys

I was excited as feck to watch my first ever Cardiff-game, but now as the game has sunk in I have a few remarks to make.

For me it seemed really obvious, and I'm sorry to say: it was like watching men play against boys... West Ham was far more solid, and the Cardiff midfield (that was supposed to be the best part of the line-up) was very disappointing. There was no muscles apart from Medel, and the ball seemed to be like a hot potato – they could'nt handle it.

From my point of view Kim Bo seemed to completely lost on the pitch – he was no good today – playing like juniors just not gonna save Cardiff this season, and West Ham fought like lions compared to Kim Bo and his likes.

For me the key to make a change is to get more possession in the midfield and when Eikrem came on things improved a lot, and I am not saying that just because I am a Norwegian! He looked calm with the ball, and to be honest: how many errors did he do today with his passes? I think he'll start the next game, but with Medel next to him. Hopefully Dæhli will be just as good as youngster Declan was today – age doesn't matter: as long as you're good enough you're old enough.

Upfront Campbell is to lightweight as well: put Bellamy upfront! Christ; the man is aging, but shows spirit and dedication. It was delightful watching him come on the pitch tucking his shirt way down in his shorts – as the only player on the turf! He will be worth solid gold for the rest of the season as he plays with honour!

Anyways; you might disagree with me, but that's just what I could read out of the game today :)

You forgot to mention that one of the men had a whistle and two of them had flags

Yap, I agree - In my opinion CC should have had two penalties for holding in the box - but they didn't get them. On the other hand: what they did get from the man with the whistle was a Hammers-player shown off, and that last yellow wasn't that clear. I guess these decisions adds up over a season.

Learn from this match: put Bells up front, Bo out/Eikrem in.
