Letting Daehli and Eikrem go are one of the worst decisions made by the SAF regime - up there with Pogba etc. Especially Daehli has been considered to be probably the biggest Norwegian talent of all time, some people might say that doesn't really say much, but following him now for 4 years, I can calm everyone down - this guy takes on every challenge with ease. He was told when he was bought to Molde by Ole that he would have to settle in and that they would let him fight for his spot. It took him a week or so to come on and show his brilliance. He is, and I'd hate using this word too much, OUTSTANDING. After three or four months he was called up to the national team - he was OUTSTANDING, best player on the pitch.
People think this guy is for the future - that is also correct, but within a week or two he will have his first opportunity, and I couldn't be less afraid of him not taking this step. His ball control is very, very, good - he is extremely creative, his only "downside" is his physique, but to be fair, that doesn't seem to be a problem for Mata, Silva, Januzaj etc. This is not the 90's anymore, these kind of players are able to dominate matches in modern football.
My point is; this is NOT only a future signing, this lad will be on the pitch in a very short time and will, hopefully, thrill you with his enthusiasm, work ethic and sheer love for the game. He is a reason alone to watch football - mark my words.
I'm now officially a bluebird, I even watch Cardiff matches instead of United matches, I really like Cardiff's style of playing, I have a strong feeling they'll stay up and even show signs of what Ole wants; dedicated, fast-paced, entertaining attacking football.

I went to the same elementary school as Mats for 5 years(I'm 2 years younger than him), and remember him well. I often played against him in the schoolyard and already then, I was stunned by his talent. He could play alone against whole school classes in the schoolyard, and still win comfortable.
When Mats was 15 he transfered from local club Lyn to Stabæk because of Lyn's bankrupcy, 6 months later when he was gonna transfer to ManUnited, he went back to Lyn just so Lyn could get the transfer money, and help them.
