what game did people go too?

Sat Jan 11, 2014 7:51 pm

because iv'e read so many comments from many on here saying there was no plan B or same shiiiite different manager? bellamy was a change in formation, ole puts on attacker for a defender? changes to 442 ? guess they were all plan A! and it appears fans want ole to fail because after one premier game under ole we are doomed to relegation  ok result wasnt what we wanted but relegation already?? :laughing5:
at end of the day all the crap players on the pitch today, (according to fans) were not ole signings! so give him a break he will come good :old:

The thing that's pisses me off most is the amount of money that's been spent when considering how we play and our league position. If we had spent 10 mil then I would not care as much, but with the vast amount of money spent me and many others just expect to be doing a little bit better than what we are atleast.

On another day we could have won that game 5-1... At least 2 definite penalties we should have had. We had probably our most possession and shots of the season - unfortunately most shots deflected straight to their keeper! Yes we should have got in the box and made a bigger effort to score but overall the performance wasn't bad... Second goal was due to counter attack of having so many players up attacking in stoppage time and was first goal offside? Ref was a disgrace... Very odd game...

Very true Allan. I think once Ole has analysed that game, he'll form a plan to take us forward and make us stronger. :ayatollah:

The game I went to was against a West Ham team who.....

Were under intense pressure before the game
Had lost their last two games by a total of 11-0
Had a makeshift defence including a League 1 centre-half playing only his second game for them
Had a first choice player carried off after 10 minutes
Had a defender sent off with 20 minutes left
Are one of our relegation rivals

And we NEVER looked like winning the game!

Whatever way you look at it , that was a piss-poor performance.

Agreed, we could have played all night and not got a goal. A bit more patience outide the box and we could have got something, West Ham were bad and we should be putting games like that to bed, lucky we could only use three subs or marshall could have bene off with 5 up front! :ayatollah:

yes not his fault we lacked penetration, what really pisses me off is fans having go at cornelious! every man and is dog knows players need time to adapt to premier even great players do, yet cornelious is not given oppotunity to adjust since been here and yet fans want him out? :o

Ole has shown more tactical awareness in his two games than Malky did in two seasons.

I thought it was a good effort in the second half. On another day we might have won 3-1. He also got Bellamy to put some effort in, which Malky never managed.

Yep, it's sad.

We would have lost that game under Malky too seeing as the West Ham players were so up for it Malky would have had us sit back and let them attack us. Ole has a plan B and unfortunately it didn't work today.

:ayatollah: :ayatollah: . Two free games now, where people are righting us off and a transfer window. I think the whole squad will be a lot better come feb.

yes and think we could surprise man u at least, long way to go and we do have time to gel also as pointed out playing all bottom half teams at home so plenty scope for points.

If we are going to beat one of the big boys away. I think it will be Man Utd. Has to players we cant expect players who were signed up of hoofball to start to knock the ball about with confidence within a week.

Some total shit out there today, a squad put together by allegedly our "greatest manager" who wasted a fortune on players that would be average in the Championship at best.

Re: what game did people go too?

Sat Jan 11, 2014 8:46 pm

People just don't want to accept the fact we played much better football, no not so called 'SWANSALONA' but it was effective and we kept attacking consistently, we just didn't have a clinical striker!! I really don't get why people want Ole to fail just because of an underperforming manager whose been paid off or WILL be paid off a hefty fee. Same we paid for Odemwingie ffs, f**k off with your love for Malky when he's left Ole a team of average players on a big budget
