Whitts (wasn't too bad)

Sat Jan 11, 2014 7:18 pm

I thought he was ok today (compared to recent months) he took on a few players and darted through the middle a few times. I think he was pushing forward alot like he used to. I understand the fact that he didn't make any tackles but he looked better.

Started well but soon reverted to sideways and backwards passes.

agreed but hasn't he always been like that. We always relied on his passing and not his physicality. I feel he has been played in the wrong position.

Let's put it this way, if we offered him to another premier league club how many would take him???? I'd be surprised if any took him.

I think a few would. I think it comes down to confidence.

He's shocking as soon as he gets dropped we will improve.

I was just saying that he looked more confident and attacked more and people are being overly negative about him because he was played out of position.

Thought he was terrible again today, time to give noone the free kicks and corners.

We are an easier side to beat when he's in the side.

Worse Whitts performance for a long time.

Whitts didn't have a bad game. What did he do wrong? Completed pretty much ever attempted pass, yes a lot of them were back or sideways, but a lot of them were also forward. If people got behind him and stopped complaining he might actually try some more adventurous passes like we've seen from him.

What did Kim offer today? He was shite

Kim was brilliant today, by far our best midfielder. I dont get this Whittingham thing. The guy is shite and a liability to the team. People keep on whining about his being played out of position as an excuse. Where on earth could we feasibly fit him in? Certainly not in goal, Marshall is playing too well. Too msny dreamers and Whittingham apologists I'm afraid.

Kim was bollocks, lost the ball too many times and too afraid to take on a man

By far our most dangerous and incisive player. He won back many balls that might have been lost and is the only midfielder with true flair. We'd really be in shite without him

This was a bad result for us today Whits wasnt that bad , Odemwinglus was useless followed by kim to lightweight.

Ole will need to get another 3/4 players in before we will see any results.I did like his tactics chasing a game take a cb off go 334/424.

We need someone who can finish better than Fraizer Campbell, as for the great dane he had 1 chance missed it so cant really blame him.

Have faith in OGS but its going to be very hard to stay up maybe go to the last game. But the football is much better to watch than MM (WHO I WAS A HUGE FAN OF) teams who played not to lose anti football. At least if we go down we will see better football which is an improvement on the last 2 years of safety first.
Getting close to nearly 50 years a bluebird so i have seen everything promotions relegations managers owners players come go, but i will still be shouting BLUEBIRDS even if we go down, this is my team for good or bad.

Time we all got behind the boys who got us here to the premier with luck we will stay up.

A BLUEBIRD IS FOR LIFE NOT JUST WHEN IN THE PREMIER. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
