No he really does deserve it, he used to do models job but isn't defensive enough and medel's expansive passing is better, he used to be the advanced playmaker but eikrem is now better, he used to be on the wing but is too slow, he's only been good for corners now but eikrem now looks just as good, should definately be dropped for Mutch....

I didn't say that he is immune from criticism, merely saying that he's becoming a real scapegoat for fans, which I believe is completely undeserved. The OP's main target for criticism is clearly Whittingham - he mentions him twice, right at the beginning and at the end of his post.

I don't 'shoot posters down', as you suggest. Most of the rubbish many often spout is laughable, and makes no sense.
