Anyone remember NEW MODEL ARMY?
Bradford band, known for their energetic live gigs, political statements and their charismatic frontman Justin Sullivan.
I am a NMA fan for over 20 years, seen countless gigs, the majority were fantastic, prob one of the best live-bands ever.
Knowing Justin and the rest personally for some time now, I can confirm they are in fact big football fans themselves, with Justin being a STH at his local Bradford City. They sometimes play football on an off-day, remember a game that took place near Trier in Germany between the band and their roadcrew against the German NMA fan following, which ended in an obligatory penalty-shootout which was won (you guessed it) by ze Germans...
Anyhow, New Model Army have recorded a new song called "Beautiful Game" and dedicated it to "The Ball" and all football-fans worldwide.
