A forum for all things Cardiff City

It seems that Hannover are resigned to selling Mame Biram Diouf to Cardiff City after they signed a replacement for the striker.
New Bluebirds manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been rumoured to be chasing his old player for a while now, with Diouf seemingly also wanting to leave after turning down a new contract and failing to report to training, according to Wales Online.
Hannover had previously stated that they wanted to keep hold of the ex-Manchester United and Molde striker, but their signing of Latvian Artjoms Rudnev seems to contradict this.
Solskjaer managed Diouf when he was in charge of the Manchester United reserve team and he is another player that the Cardiff boss is looking to bring in that has played for Molde; new signing Magnus Wolff Eikrem and linked players Mats Moller Daehli and Orjan Nyland have all featured for the Norwegian club at some point.
Diouf scored one goal for United and also scored six goals for Blackburn Rovers after a loan spell there in 2010/11.
