Bayern Munich look set to continue their manner of showing the rest of Europe how it’s done by shelling out £75,000 to subsidise the cost of tickets for their fans’ trip to the Emirates Stadium when they take on Arsenal in the Champions League last 16.
How about we get free travel to the Bolton game? Would help get good support and reduce the cost to fans who got 3 trips to Manchester in 1 week?

Compared to ticket prices in the PL, tickets in Germany are extremely cheap. If it's true what Bayern are doing, cheers to them.

and also, although of course its a nice gesture.... if they take 5,000 over there its £15 quid each, not like they are paying for the plane!

Mainly owned by the fans as well, so it's like a director of a company putting his lunch on the company's account

Bayern Muenchen AG isn't owned by the fans but by shareholders... largest shareholder tho is the club, FC Bayern Muenchen, which is "owned" by its members...
