I haven't posted on here before and only just registered to the forum however.. I'm a city fan and work for a man named Andrew woodhouse who is also a family friend. Someone posted it on here before but Andrew was woken by an alarm last year for his premises and made his way to his yard where he found 2 burglars which increased to 3 in there and trying to break in to his Car Garage and Paving premises. Over the past few years he has had £15,000 worth of equipment stolen! Andrew acted in self defence as the burglars were armed with wooden stakes! As fellow bluebirds, I would much appreciate that you shared the page 'Support Andrew Woodhouse' on facebook or signed the petition that I will also post! Many thanks!

Burglars got a £100 fine in November and that was because of possession!

Knowing how sensitive this type of incident has become and how the jury are always so sympathetic to the home/business owner, I'm surprised he was charged unless the CPS were confident of a conviction or thought that he had lost control, especially as he had been a victim of theft before.

exactly what is said by his defence....he didnt get up in the middle of the night to go and hurt someone....F.F.S... the laws an arse...

Here in the US you can shoot someone invading your property.
Surely there is a sensible compromise between you executing someone (US) or being charged with GBH (UK)?

That's exactly what the prosecution will say that he was fed up and lashed out forgetting that he hit them with their own wood which they were armed with to rob in the first place the intent to harm anyone they came across lies with the burglars Andrew merely reacted to the situation, what I belive anyone would do in that situation ie attending a robbery in progress you don't know what to expect as technically your own life could be in danger f**k them! I attend call outs in work and the police take ages to attend so go in on my own one day I could be faced with a similar situation and I wouldn't walk in there without a bat or a stick at least as you have no idea what you are walking into he went in with nothing and then attacked them with their own weapon can't see anything wrong myself but that's Britain for you, theft carries a mandatory 2 year sentence according to the law and more for carrying offensive weapons etc in our place now shoplifters get fines which they pay back weekly is shoplifting not theft anymore? Obviously not! £80 fines they get banned from store and still come back and steal again by entering a banned premises it's technically trespassing which means there next theft is burglary not just theft yet they don't receive a 10 year custodial sentence for burglary not even a sentence at all just another slap on wrist and £80 fine these people are scum and I'm fed up of them I'll snap one day and I only work there just a job not my own business etc

I got pissed up in October head butted a window (didn't smash it) I spend a night in cell get DNA done etc and a £90 fine and treated like a massive criminal by officers in station even tho it was just a D n D and I get no criminal record for it beggars belief the system it really is
