By then the massive cuts implimented by Cameron will be throwing millions out of work making both him and Clegg the most hated party leaders in history.

In the meantime Labour will elect David or Ed Milliband as leader and will be ready to return with a 60+ majority within 18 months to 2 years and they (Labour) will be in power for at least a generation.

could not agree more Tony

working families tax credits ARE ONLY BEING STOPPED FOR COUPLES IN RECEIPT OF £50K OR MORE A YEAR

anyone earning between £7000 and £47000 will be at the very least £170 a year better off, than if we stayed with labour

Brown tonight resigned BEFORE a deal was officially signed off on.

Can we please drop the Mandelson inspired spin Brown was merely doing his duty, rather than a naked grab to hold onto power he's never received a mandate for?

Brown wasn't even elected Labour leader, ffs...

Nerd what Sludge said is perfectly correct Brown did wait until it was certain a new Government was ready. Whether the deal was officially signed off is neither here nor there because a deal was in place and Brown went at the earliest oppotunity he could.

That must be the case because David Cameron basically followed Brown into Buckingham Palace to accept responsibility in forming the next Government.

BTW the fact Brown wasn't even elected Labour leader is a complete non-issue. We elect Government's in this country not President's. In 2005 the UK voted for a majority Labour Government and whoever leads that Government is up to Labour, not the electorate.
