' OLE TAKES HIS FIRST CCS SESSION '

8th January 2014

Ole
" I’m looking forward to the match this weekend, with the home crowd getting behind their players and the team"

City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær took his first Cardiff City Stadium training session today, as his squad continue preparations for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League visit of West Ham. Included in the ranks was new signing Magnus Wolff Eikrem who today signed from Dutch club Heerenveen.

On training and the upcoming encounter, Ole said, “The stadium and the pitch here is fantastic and the lads had a good session today. Magnus said felt like he had been waiting for ages to get out and train with his new teammates and it was great to see him playing football again. He’s a full international and can now train and play with the good group of players that we have here.

“I can’t wait and want to see the players go out there as they did against Sunderland, playing at home and enjoying and expressing themselves, which we hope will put West Ham on the back foot. I’m looking forward to the match this weekend, with the home crowd getting behind their players and the team.

I honestly dont understand why there are delays, when I was there on Monday everything looked set to go ahead, even the Norwegian media were told all was going ahead and then bang everything was put on hold.

Hopefully all will be sorted

Not the odd. Constantly in a Sea of Blue

Not against the chanting of blue but I think that the fact fans are turning up in blue even if it's just a scarf is great sight.

The red will always be in the ground, no hiding from that but each game it seems like fans are just wearing a red jacket they own due to the fans turning up in the Blue. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I only saw it after the Newcastle game, nice to see Ole have a sense of humour in interviews.

Why no Tan out Chants? I like the OGS signing but after the recent protests against Tan, banners wanting him out and singing there will be a riot if malky is sacked what has changed? The fans rolled over with the rebrand and are rolling over again. Guess what, tan knows he can do what he wants because our fans are a soft touch who are all bark with no bite.

Because we need to support the team while they are on the pitch.

Malky had to go for the good of the football club as the football was absolutely dire and his transfer dealings were poor and we were going no where but down. Great bloke no doubt but he was well out of his depth IMO. I do not think people are rolling over with regards to the Malky thing. I just think people have realised that it was in the club's best interest for a fresh face at the helm and that the whole Malky uproar was due to the rebrand more than over Malky himself.

But the fans didn't know this at the end of the Liverpool game? We had all this furore over malky and the Tan out protests and as soon as OGS is appointed people no longer want Tan out. I call that rolling over. I have stated before that the last protest was too varied. Some people wanted Malky to stay, others wanted Tan Out, Others wanted Blue. I would happily keep Tan if we were restored to our origional colour & badge but I just dont understand why oppointing OGS as manager means people no longer need to protest. However, I do agree that there needs to be no malky chants, minimul tan out protests but a huge increase in back to blue protests and also the resoration of the badge.

Magnus Wolff Eikrem's dob is 8/8/1990, i'd say he has a fairly good chance of keeping his head :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Because for one game it'd be nice to see a full backing for the team and it's Ole's first game, it'd give the players a lift. Fans protested because of Malky, not the colour change, I felt embarrassed by that
