Thanks for visiting my JustGiving page. This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I’ll be ditching the drink for one month to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Please dig deep and donate now. My story concerns my son Sam. 13 months ago Sam, while in Sweden was diagnosed with a brain tumour. On returning home and after numerous tests he underwent a 12 hour operation last January to remove the tumour. The operation medically was a sucess removing over 90% of the tumour but unfortunately it was found to be cancerous. Sam was also left with a partial paralysis down his left side.Sam has been amazingly positive over the last year and has gone from strength to strength while undergoing firstly radiotherapy and currently chemotherapy and gradually getting back to normality.
Myself and Jane want to support Sam as best we can and this is why we have decided to do the Dryathalon for January 2014, to raise money to stop this
