TOM INCE

Wed Jan 08, 2014 5:10 pm

Looks set to sign for the swans. Do you think we've missed out on one here? Although a lot may have some hard feelings towards him for turning us down, he is a class player and will probably be leaving on a cut price as his contract draws to an end. Daehli is 18 and it's a big step up in quality in terms of playing for Molde to Cardiff respectively..

he hasn't exactly done that great in the championship this season

Molde would properly beat Blackpool ,I dint see it as a much more set up ,tom ince is over ratwdime his dad was

Re: TOM INCE

Debatable, he is playing along side a piss poor Blackpool team who have the tendency to play with 9 players a game.

Re: TOM INCE

Wed Jan 08, 2014 5:22 pm

Didn't want to join us because Cardiff was to far from his family, then he's in talks with a club a further hour away

Re: TOM INCE

Wed Jan 08, 2014 5:23 pm

Don't see how we can be said to have "missed out".

He made it clear in the summer that he did not want to join us, undoubtedly thinking that Liverpool or Spurs would make an offer for him.

Well, that hasn't happened so he's now left with either staying at Blackpool or accepting whatever teams come in for him.

No doubt as his child is now 6 months old he'll find it much easier to uproot his family than he would have done in the summer!

I'm glad we're not in for him. If he didn't want to live in Cardiff just wait until he finds out what Swansea's like!

Most over rated championship player

Re: TOM INCE

Wed Jan 08, 2014 5:25 pm

Malky did all he could to get Tom at the time. It's Tom's fault for himself not joining us so I'm not going to feel regretful about it.

 he was hoping for Liverpool to come in for and it didn't happen , that was reason he didn't join us

Don't agree about him being overrated, his partner had just had a baby and his head was probably scattered.
Think they were probably playing us hoping for a better deal, how stupid does Oyston look in all this with a father touting his son?
Jacks look favourites although Everton apparently still interested, he turned us down so wouldn't want him here now , genuinely not bothered where he goes.

Dont want the spoilt little shit stirrer littering up our club.........he had his chance and did not want to come.

if i was to pick from zaha or ince it would be ince imo

Re: TOM INCE

Not keen at all. And if he leaves talks without signing (like he did with you in the summer), then we should tell him to do one. As far as I'm concerned he uses 'talks with clubs', as an attempt to alert others. IE: mercenary!

He said Cardiff was too far away... Enough said... Don't want him here

Seven goals in 19 from the wing this season. 31 in 97 overall. Not exactly bad.

Any attitude issues aside, Swansea are getting a top young player.

Doubt he will get as good an offer as he did from us. Blackpool must be kicking themselves for not getting £8 million for him

Re: TOM INCE

He was a Malky target and chances are OGS doesn't want him, otherwise I'm sure we would try again.
In Ole we trust.

I think we've had a lucky escape. He's not so special. I think Daehli will be far better! Itll also send out the message - f**k with Cardiff City at your peril!

Re: TOM INCE

I find it funny that when he was linked with us the Jacks were saying how shit and overrated he is but now he's linked to them he's the best thing since sliced bread  make your bloody mind up will you

Re: TOM INCE

Obviously a big IF but Once going to Swansea will be insignificant if we get Zaha. Definately the better of the two.

You are probably right, he has let the world know he is available again, and has about ten clubs interested in him.

He will probably make a lot from it though as there are less players available in January, also the transfer fee will be less as his contract has almost run down, and he can negotiate a bigger signing on fee.

He must have something there is plenty of interest....

Ince is using Swansea as a stalking horse.
They won't get him,we've got a better chance than them.

Zaha every time. Him Daelhi Diouf and Cambell ......bellissimo!!!

Re: TOM INCE

He is a talented player, I question if he would go down as a Sinclair type.. great in the championship but can't set the league alight in the Prem.

It does seem like what 64 said that he is playing clubs.

Re: TOM INCE

Wed Jan 08, 2014 9:43 pm

I'd be amazed if Ince signed for anyone in Jan.

He'll run his contract down and get a huge signing on fee from someone in the summer.

Agree with this. He'll just play around with different clubs for a few weeks. Daddy want him to go to,,,,UTD.

The photo of him and his dad tells the picture, basically like us.. very happy and open to be seen meeting up with clubs so then the media will manage to get a hold of it and alert other clubs.

If he was serious he would be going to a hotel or at your training ground.. same for us really.

That photo was published by a fake Victor Moses account and everyone jumped on it assuming it was today and in Swansea.

It could have been taken at any time and anywhere.

There was no one who would be representing us in the photo.

Fair enough, the hair style of Ince is one he recently had when I have watched im this season.

I do agree it could of been a few months ago etc but if it is involving Swansea it wouldn't shock me, he travelled by train and was walking around freely before meeting up with MM.
