Cardiff City will NOT now unveil new signings Magnus Wolffe Eikrem and Mats Moeller Daehli today.

The club had hoped to officially confirm the Norwegian duo this afternoon but paperwork has not yet been completed.

The midfielders are, however, in Cardiff and WILL become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first signings as manager later this week.

Senegalese international striker Mama Biram Diouf, who is with German club Hannover, and Molde goalkeeper Orjan Nyland Nyland could also be on their way to Cardiff.

Nyland yesterday admitted he would be hugely tempted by the chance to link up with his former boss in the Premier League, but insisted he had received no official approach.

"Cardiff in the Premier League. I do not really need to say more than that," Nyland told Romsdals Budstikka.

"But I have not heard anything about it in any case. As far as I know it's just rumours.

City are also being linked with moves for Blackpool’s Tom Ince, Crystal Palace player Jonathan Williams and Manchester United’s Wilfried Zaha, who could be available on loan.
