Reports in the Daily Mail today claim Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to raid Premier League rivals Newcastle United and Manchester United for his next signings


After completing the signings of Norwegian duo Magnus Wolff Eikrem and Mats Moller Daehli Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will target defender Steven Taylor and wing Wilfried Zaha next - according to reports .

The stylish centre back, who played for the Magpies against Cardiff in the FA Cup on Saturday, had not played in five months, since being sent-off against Manchester City in August.

He has now recovered from a hamstring injury that he suffered earlier this season and would likely be available to the Bluebirds this month.

The report also claims Solskjaer is in the hunt, along with several clubs, for 21-year-old United wing Zaha.

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis has admitted he tried to take the starlet back to Selhurst Park but said: "I don't think he's (United boss David Moyes) too keen on him coming back to London."

So what is the opinion of Cardiff fans, would Taylor be a good choice of defender? I have only seen him a couple of times. Does anyone know if the Newcastle boss wants to offload him?
