Solskjaer targets Newcastle outcast Taylor

New Cardiff manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is interested in making Newcastle defender Steven Taylor one of his first signings.

The Bluebirds boss has been given significant funds to bolster his squad in the January transfer window.

And central defender Taylor is one of the names on Solskjaer's wishlist this month.

He prob was one of their best players couple of years ago but like worcester said dont know much bout him these days

Was one of their best players a few years back, he had a couple of bad injuries if I remember then just seemed to fall out of favour.

Injuries stopped this guy from becoming one of England's top defenders, in my opinion. Always been fond of him, gives everything for the cause.

Would be a good signing for us, and him and Caulker would work very well together. We'd need derby back up ready for when he gets injured though.

Well that's what they said about Scott Dann, when he went to BRFC he was written off as not going to be good enough.

Scott Dann was man of the match in the 1-1 draw against Man City on the weekend. And he's been putting in a lot more great performances than just that one match.

Only 27, been at Newcastle at 10 years.

Experienced, risk with the injuries but we can always take a risk. Look at Campbell.

Has had so many injuries if he was a horse they would have shot him.

As a short term fix for this season I'd say take him. Then next season strengthen again and its up to him to keep his place. Much better than hudson and turned when he's not injured
