The biggest risk on the road is other drivers. The number of times i've been cut up by someone is incredible. Some people just don't care. I've been cut up once and saw the guy then try and round another vehicle only to not be able to force his way in and ended up going up on the pavement and into a lamppost. He deserved it for his own stupidity. Luckily for him and other people he got out and was okay and only the front of his car was ruined. Fortunate no person was on the pavement and there was a lamppost there to stop his car.
The worst in Cardiff is that turning by UWIC, onto Mill Lane, going through to Canton. Its a short turn left off Western Avenue that splits into 2 lanes and the amount of people that cut across from the right lane into there cutting up the driver in the left lane is incredible. People realise they're in the wrong lane heading up towards Ely and for some reason just dart across. Fortunately never seen a crash result from it but just an emergency brake. I've uploaded a picture below of the road i am on about. Shocking that people do it so often.
Thats a very powerful advert indeed.
