Been AWOL from a few training sessions, naughty boy
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news ... h-hannoverMame Biram Diouf has reported back to training after missing a number of sessions with Hannover.
Diouf has yet to complete a full training session under new coach Tayfun Korkut, and the club have been left far from happy with the Senegal striker's behaviour.
Dirk Dufner, the Hannover general manager, said: "We definitely do not like this (the player staying away from regular training).
"This is not anything we have agreed with him."
Diouf is out of contract at the end of the season and has so far refused Hannover's attempts to discuss a fresh deal.
Stoke City have been tracking him since last January - but Cardiff City, now managed by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who had Diouf at Molde, are also said to be keen

According to Wikipedia he also went missing for a few days before his wedding along with the best man and neither are allowed to explain why

At least Ole has worked with him before and should know what he's like to work with.

SSN reporting that WHUFC have bid 5.3 mil for him today

I'm not convinced by him anyway, espicially with that attitude I wouldn't want it in the squad.

If true then let him go there. He's worth 3.5m at most with his current contract and he's a risk as his career is hit and miss. The most i'd pay for any gamble is £4m.
Finnbogason, who is a natural born goalscorer, has said today he's staying at Heerenveen but money talks. Ole still has a large amount of the transfer kitty left so a £10m bid plus decent wages would get him and I'm certain his arrival would ensure our survival because he's just a natural clinical finisher. It'd also leave money for a defender and a squad player with around £5m going on Dæhli and Eikrem.

West Ham have a record of paying a shit load of money for crocked/awol strikers, let him go there
Carroll
Savio
Ashton

We would be f*cking daft to sign someone for £10m pounds plus astronomical wages, I want a club to support should we go down.

I don't want a Diouf at our club.
Mercenary footballers the Diouf,s No pride. No loyalty.

He's loaning it to us and we will be fucked if he decides to clear off and we have all this money saddled to the club we have to pay.

If we go back down and he cuts his losses we're going bust regardless. May as well spend a bit more and have a better chance of staying up. If you'd rather us sign a shite striker and go down then thats up to you.

I reckon we'll get this lad. Seems decent. 23 goals in 49 in the Bundesliga is pretty good. Good enough to be a mid table/top 10 PL striker
