It's in the maths? Bluebirds won't be relegated.

Sun Jan 05, 2014 9:53 pm

Looking at bottom 4 in the premiership i did some simple maths based on managerial records in light of OGS now in charge and thereby the chance of Cardiff survival.

Table today:
Cardiff 18points
Crystal Palace 17points
West Ham 15points
Sunderland 14points

All with 18 to play thereby potential 54points
According to transfermarkt.co.uk the managerial records are:
OGS win-57% draw- 20% loss- 23%
Thereby on record 34points gained from remaining games.
Tony Pulis win-36% draw-29% loss-35%
Thereby 27points
Sam Allardyce win-37% draw-28% loss-35%
Thereby 25points
Gus Poyet win-45% draw - 29% loss-26%
Thereby 29points

End of season table:
Cardiff 52points
Palace 44points
Sunderland 43 points
West Ham 40points

Like everything good in life (loans, women, alcohol) there are disclaimers but the numbers can't lie!

WHU end bottom on 40 points. That's harsh.

Lol what poor stats

These are so biased you can't compare a managers record in a Norwegian league To a manager whose only managed in prem same as allardyce has managed in numerous leagues so taking is overall figure probably isn't what his premiership stats are no one will finish on 40 pts and get relegated not a chance

What goes through the head of some people honestly? Surely the OP himself doesn't actually believe this himself. Must be a wind up.

Crazy isnt it.

By his logic Brett Williams of Aldershot should be on the top of the January wishlist for Prem teams this January. As going by his goals to games ratio he should be amongst the top goalscorers in the Premier League :laughing6:

Of course did have my tongue firmly in my cheek when posting this. Proof will be in the pudding as not sure if OGS can perform in Premiership? It is disgusting what Tan did but, make me feel a little better.
