Have a look at him on youtube playing for Hanover in Bundesliga

Yep. Been decent at Hannover mind & only 6 months left on contract - could be cheap....

Scored 23 in 49 for Hannover in the Bundesliga, not bad, lets not forget to were Cardiff City to not Arsenal, would be a good signing. :ayatollah:

Not sure this is such a good signing, shit for Blackburn, don't think he even scored for them

Agreed. I would rather Finnbogason but we need to be realistic and be aware that he's a player being linked with the likes of Milan and Schalke. If they pursue that deal then we stand no chance regardless of our Premier League status.

Diouf is hit and miss but then thats strikers for you I suppose. He's been great in the Bundesliga and he and Campbell up top in a 4-4-2 system could be a great option. He's also acrobatic and strong. He's a bit like Bony to be honest.

I'd be happy with a big guy to play with Campbell who's as good as him

Can't do no wrong, not excited by it though.

The time Ole managed him at Molde he was great. Actually a bit strange that he didn't succeed in PL.

Personally I'd much rather Finnbogason. Not sure a striker should be our main priority though, a wide player we need. I think brining Mason back in would be a benefit

Finnbogason would be perfect :thumbright: but doubt he comes any cheap. Should i guess 7 mill £? maybe even more....

Um, at Rovers he was being played all alone up top and there were no real great playmakers in midfield to supply him. He is not the type for those kind of tactics. Allardyce was the problem, not Diouf.

But if OGS is trying to sign an ex-Hannover player, Mohammed Abdellaoue would be better IMO, especially since he hasn't been given much of a chance since he signed for Stuttgart. Might be too expensive though. And also, he's another Norwegian so it might raise questions...

Stoke got outpriced when bidding for him, this is one Manchester United connection signing I wouldn't like, feel we need a tall striker whose gonna compliment Fraizer

Campbell is the best striker we have at the club, cornelius is garbage, Maynard is off, ruud boi has gone, and mason hasn't had a sniff this year so haven't got a clue how he is performing.

I thought you'd said earlier that Diouf was 'no better than Campbell' but it was 'Canton Jack' - that's why I challenged you on whether you thought Mason was better than Campbell. Sorry about confusion.

It was Canton G who said that. And I agree tbh, doubt he's any better than Odemwingie.

On his wikipedia page it says he signed a 2 year deal on 28th january 2012.

If true he is out of contract soon wont cost a transfer fee.

Will be a cheap deal for us if this info is correct.More money for other deals hope we get a top defender in as well.

I think Odemwingie will flourish under Solskjær. Namely because he's bringing in two brilliant assist-rocking defence-splitters already. Who knows, maybe he won't have to buy a new striker at all. (Though I bet he will)

Rovers spent 8.5 mill on him and they're not selling unless there's profit in it.

He's transformed into a superb striker. Fast and strong, with a decent finish to go with it. And he's playing in a top league week in, week out.
