The Prem would be enough to tempt him IMO, let alone singing his team mate, his country's captain playing for us, and a Scandinavian legend as our manager

Hadn't counted us out, but I'd have thought that if we were in for Finnbogasson, he'd possibly have travelled over with Daehli?

What kind of striker is he?

With 41 goals in 48 games...A darn good one!

Still not decided on him, we need a striker who can do a fair amount of donkey work or at least be able to run from deep, last year he only seemed to score short range chances from crosses etc, this year he seems to be setting himself up for more goals but watched him play vitesse recently and wasn't overawed

If we had a good enough midfield we wouldnt need strikers to work hard and track back. Eikrem hopefully might be the key to this. Anyone here remember Gerd Muller, possibly the greatest striker of all time. You wouldn't catch him outside the six yard box but if a ball was played into it, hed score - no question. However he did have a quality midfield behind him.

Isn't eikrem Norwegian?

Eikrem is Norwegian and plays with Finnbogason at Heerenveen. But Finnbogason is Icelandic and Gunnarson is his international captain.

Something about this guy doesnt excite me, obviously a good scoring record but I dunno.

In Ole I will trust.
