The Glazers have taken hundreds of millions out of the club over the past ten years that should have been spent getting the sort of players Chelsea and Man City have been signing.

Instead Fergie's had to make do collecting second rate players that's only real strength is absolute consistency and built in steely resolve. But he could see that the older players like Scholes and Giggs and Ronaldo that had the star quality to compliment the hard workers have all gone which is why he's jumped ship now. Van Persie was the only time he broke the mould last season because he knew he was retiring.

Realistically if the Glazers hadn't been bleeding the club dry they would be as far ahead of the rest of the country as Munich is in Germany and Real and Barca are in Spain.

Moyes is in a no win situation at the moment.he got a huge rebuilding job on his hands in the summer, if he lasts that long and the funds are actually there to rebuild

Spot on beating Newcastle is exactly the same as beating man u. We not only rested 5 but had vorm, hernandez, dyer, michu and lammah out injured. It's a squad game these days and these figures about resting players are irrelevant especially for clubs in Europe as so many changes are made almost every game.

Great game of football. Slagged off Bony in the past but the last month he's been fantastic. Roll on drawing the Jacks in the 5th round I say, now that would be a great game. For all those who don't care about the club f**k off, can tell who the plastics are when they say that.

They way united are playing at home I would say beating Newcastle away is a bigger achievement this season, the table doesn't lie
