Number 8

If all the talk about Tan urging the club to buy players with 8 in their birth date because he thinks its a lucky number was all bollocks, its a bit weird how our proposed first signing Magnus Wolff Eikrem was born on 08/08/1990!!!

No 8's in Mats Møller Dæhli's birth date (02/03/95) but he is 18.

What's your fascination with tan and numb 8? Yout Second post on subject! Or do you actually believe what papers say about tan and number 8. On that basis if Messi doesn't have connection with 8 we wouldn't sign him if we could? ? :old:

Sorry, i didn't know i wasn't allowed to post twice on the same subject. It's not a question of whether I believe it or not. I just thought it was interesting, that's all. When the 8 rumours first came out everyone said it was rubbish paper talk. Then lo and behold, our first (probable) signing was born on 8/8. Don't really see what Messi has to do with anything.

Someone already said on the other thread you bumped from a week a go that this silly rumour originated on talkSport then the papers took it as actual news and printed it.

It is a weird coincidence that Magnus was born on the 8th of August. He has worked with Ole twice before and Ole holds him in high regard. So he isn't signing him because of his birthday.

If say Magnus had no connections to Ole beforehand I'd see your point. But for now it is just a load of nonsense.
