i think a lot are hoping ole slips up

i honestly believe that the fans are divided and as has become the norm of late it seems that we sit in 2 camps.... :ayatollah:

Some peoples blind loyalty to a manager is shocking!

Some on here are trying to heap the pressure on him already all because Malky knew how to play us. I was sucked in by him at first but he's a slimeball who played us fans to get what he wanted

Re: i think a lot are hoping ole slips up

Why on earth would a city fan want ole to slip up?

I cant understand why ole would cause a divide.football is entertainment, he looks if hes gonna set us up a bit better n progress which was very much needed

Bill Nicholson quote - ex Spurs

‘It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory.’

So true. Even if we go down this season, as long as we fight tooth and nail and the players give 100% i'll be proud. I'll be a lot prouder than had we gone down under Malky sitting back taking a leathering every game.

I certainly dont want OGS to fail . I want him to be a huge success and for us to be back in Blue ASAP . OGS is just what we need although Tan does not deserve him. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Willy wonka said he cannot wait for us to lose 3 on the bounce, very strange from a hardcore city fan

Its a disgrace. People would rather us fail just to show Malky in a better light.

No need to name names they are transparent for all to see.

The problem is, the more successful OGS is the less likely we'll go back to blue with tan in charge. He will see success as a vindication of his actions and soon we'll be arguing about the change in name. Logically a return to blue etc may be dependent on us performing badly.

Notice how fewer pro blue posts there are given the OGS optimism. The best option would be to have a more respectful owner. I can't help but feel more and more detached from the club, and success with the new manager is still going to be tarnished by the rebrand as was promotion.

Got to agree with this.

I've already the focus on the blue is waning. We need the likes of BU to step in again.

We should be in only ONE camp...Camp Cardiff City FC!!

Managers come and (like owners) managers go, but fans should support whoever is in situ, until given reason(s) not to...

Malky "did the business" for us by getting us to the Premier League without shadow of doubt, but he has moved on ( and it appears to be emerging that he may not have been as 'white' as we all thought) and OGS is now the man in the hot seat

He (like all other managers with the exception of Kenny Hibbitt  ) will have my full support

A very positive start from OGS, but a long way to go yet...

Give him a chance FFS! ;) :ayatollah:

I agree with what you say as well apart from the BU bit Im afraid. They had their chance and blew it. Ole may be the one who gets our blue back , after all he is the most powerful person there at the moment apart from our beloved Dictator.

Not really as how is Mackay a slimeball. You'd probably sell your mother for a fiver.

Your question was already answered. He played the fans to get what he wants.

as for your mother comment. Im trying not to get into a slanging match with you as there would be one winner. Keep it civil.

He's right though. Malky was just great with the media and played people for fools. Lets not pretend that isn't the case because those who can see through all the nonsense know fully well thats the case. People need to move on or at least channel their emotions towards supporting the team.

They are not loyal to malky they just use anything they can to have a pop at Tan. A few i believe would like Ole to fail so again they can have a pop at Tan

Re: i think a lot are hoping ole slips up

Sun Jan 05, 2014 1:53 pm

Agree with the first poster. I think some people do want him to fail just so they can have a go go ago at Tan and praise Malky. People are trying to put pressure on him knowing we would have had a limited return in January with anyone in in charge.

Malky wouldn't have shown us any loyalty if Everton came knocking so why should we now?

It's true and like jinks said anything to say I told you tan was a wanker.
At times it amazes what our fan base has become. I think some a far more interested in being ITK than supporting Cardiff City.

That's a load of bolloxs, Malky did a fantastic job at the mighty Cardiff city imo , the best manager we have ever had in my lifetime, we have moved on Ole will get full support in the new era but slagging malky off after everything he has done for us when he was in charge is a disgrace

I havent slagged him off for getting us up. Ive slagged him off for playing us fans as fools in order to get a payout. He used us as pawns in his and tans game.

I still Malky did a superb job for us and I would never slag the guy as he will always be a Cardiff legend for me, in a similar way to Eddie May. But I think that what has separated people into two camps (as always seems the case with city fans these days) is that people can see that certain posters are trying to crank up the pressure on Solskjaer before he even gets started so they can say Tan was wrong.

Personally, I find that pathetic.

Malky used the media not the fans,he had to fight his corner who wouldn't.A bit harsh to call him a slime ball, overall he done a good job for Cardiff under difficult circumstances.
