Your best course of action, and I know you got money as you threw a laptop in the bath, is to use a glue gun to put some glue in his controllers analog stick for skills and the back trigger that's used for sprinting on the game. Then when you play him he'll struggle to do skills and his players will move like they're going through water.
An alternative method is to change the controls to fully manual. That way you'll struggle to play and so will he unless he's used to playing with fully manual controls. You'll get loads of draws then Steve which is a start.
If he is still beating you on fully manual controls with glue in the analog stick and back trigger then you have no other choice but to put your son up for adoption.

Luke, I have a 97% win record on FIFA as I have my own system and it ruins people. I've had death threats and everything online for beating people. I only have 97% because the internet up these ways is terrible and you get penalised on FIFA for disconnections. I just play a 5-4-1 (very few people put 5 in defence) with the two full backs as wing backs and counter attack with them. I most often go Everton on FIFA with Baines and Coleman flying up the wing overlapping Mirallas and Pienaar and Lukaku, the beast, up front. Unstoppable force Everton are on FIFA plus you get drawn against teams like Spurs and Liverpool rather than Barcelona or Real Madrid so don't have to worry about Messi or Ronaldo one trick pony players.
