I know we won today, but ....

Anybody who went up there today, what did you make of our style of play? Listening on the radio it sounded as if we were much more together as an attacking force. Do you feel much more optimistic now? I know in those final months with Malky I had a feeling of trepidation and anxiety before and during matches, we just looked a poor side didn't we? Going by the vibe on the radio there seemed to be far more optimism coming from the pundits. Somehow I feel more positive myself again, am I right to feel this way? All comments appreciated from those at the game :ayatollah:

The great thing about the human mind is it can be re-tuned and the performance can be improved purely from positive mental attitude and having 100% belief within the camp.

malky may well be a great manager but players wont have that belief under MM within the premiership as hes not experienced in this league as a player or manager.
A make shift manager who has been at the biggest club in britain for most of his career is a huge - massive lift.

even a team like palace or us at present can over achieve in the first season and finish 11th or better playing with optimism and confidence

the best part about today's game for me ,was the way ole changed the game with his substitutions. Something we have rarely seen in a Cardiff manager over the years. I know the pressure was somewhat off him today, and the real test will be in the league, but it bodes well for us if today is anything to go by. He seems like a manager who isn't afraid to throw the dice and look to change things when the game isn't quite going our way. You can see he has taken a lot from his time under the master Alex Ferguson :ayatollah:
