Re: Cornelius today

it sounded like he is out of practice, but they were saying ole was instructing him, so maybe this week have time to build his confidence up and we will see the real cornelious :old:

Dogshite again I'm afraid, I hope Ole can shape him up or swap him for finboggasom

Re: Cornelius today

Sat Jan 04, 2014 5:22 pm

if hes gonna live upto his potential ole will get it out of him.

I think we should ship him on loan and sign a new striker for the immidiate future maybe next year also

give it time would you be up to speed playing ten mins a game? different tactics suit different players lets see what ole does to change things! as by todays outlook it should improve as we were basically equal in stats to ncatle, when did that last happen?? :o

Good point, do you think ole will put cornelius and Campbell up front together for west ham. That odemwingie needs to be dropped he offers nothing but extra offsides and fouls

Pay £8m for a striker, he's unfortunate to get injured early doors, and you want to farm him out on loan for the rest of the season...and next?!

The lad needs time to gain confidence after a massive move for him, on top of all the shite he undoubtedly reads on forums.

not together but maybe drop cambell behind him we know cornelious is good with his feet well was in his league! so compliment each other, also ole played whitts and kim together in central mid field which worked a lot better as everyone knows whitts position is central!

Thats 1 thing I didn't like with what Malky did with Whittingham he played him out of position so often and it knocked his confidence big time , hopefully now he can kick on and gain his confidence back

I played at good level of football all my life, never even thought about going on a forum until I retired a couple of years ago. When you play sport going on a forum is the last thing that crosses your mind. Your not a fan your a player so there is no need to come on a forum.

My apologies, I wasn't aware that you experiences spoke for everyone else who has ever kicked a ball for money.

How about Hudson did he have a good game ????

How many of the new players today will keep their place ????

It didn't sound like he had the best of games. I really want to see him up top with Campbell. I think those two would link up well! I still think he's going to turn out class!

The big man wasn't as bad as made out but he does need to improve. Won a few headers as the game went in and I thought it was harsh replacing him when PO was poorer. Our fans jeering his touches certainly won't help his progress, it was a bit embarrassing to be honest.

However, certainly not as embarrassing as losing your teeth celebrating a goal and then being ejected from the stadium as your opponents equalise!!

Re: Cornelius today

I really hope he gets a goal soon or polo and chuckles will label him a donkey
and then others will jump on the bandwagon
and once labelled by chucks and polo he will never get rid of it even if he shows improvement :ayatollah:

Also doesn't help when your manager at the time, publicly admitted that you are not ready to play in the prem yet, but one for the future

I thought Hudson did well considering his lack of game time. Gunnarson needs to do more as does Odemwingie.
