Game at Cardiff Crucial to Future of West Ham Boss -
Sam Allardyce has survived West Ham United crisis talks as the club attempt to plot a way out of their deepening hole.
Under-fire manager Allardyce remains determined that he can keep West Ham in the Premier League, despite a series of setbacks.
Following the dismal defeat at Fulham on Wednesday, co-owner David Sullivan and vice-chairman Karren Brady spoke to Allardyce about a range of topics associated with the slide into the relegation zone. There is an acceptance that Allardyce has suffered from a horrific run of injuries, but his position may yet come under review after the trip to fellow strugglers Cardiff City a week tomorrow.
Upton Park sources now see that as a game crucial to West Ham's hopes of survival. The fact that it will mark Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first home match in charge of the Welsh club will not make Allardyce's task any easier.
